Any bird will be eligible. Any member can supply a bird to be put up for silent auction – if accepted the member will be advised and the bird must be retained by the Vendor and available for sale until the end of the process
Only fully completed BIDS ( by email ) received before the closing time, will be accepted. A Closing Date for bids will be given for each Silent Auction(e.g. Sunday October ??th at 16:00 ).
We will confirm by email that your bid was received. The bird will only be sold if the highest bid is above the Vendors Reserve PriceFully completed bids MUST include name and email for return contact .
The highest bidder will be eligible to buy the bird, but if the first bidder declines to buy the bird, it will be offered to the next highest bidder at the final price bid, if it was above the Vendors reserve selling price.
FULL payment to be made before the bird is collected or shipped.
Visa and Mastercard are accepted but incur an additional 5% bank fee
Internet Bank transfers to “BRASEA” Account at the Commonwealth Bank,using your name as a reference,codes BSB 062-217 Account number 1039 6061 all payments will need to be Bank cleared before the bird (s)can be freighted or collected.....
Unsold birds may be put up again in the next Silent Auction ....
A 10% commission will be paid to BRASEA for all sold birds
Entries can be emailed to warren@brasea.com snail mailed to PO Box 141 CROYDON NSW 2132 and must include contact details of Vendor plus indicating the following:·
Only show quality to be offered for this Silent Auction pet shop quality birds need not be submitted for consideration
The Management Committee of ASBS - “BRASEA” or its Volunteers, will not be held responsible in any regard relating to any bird put up for sale or any bird sold, this is a service for the Vendor and the Vendor warrants the condition of the bird as if the bird was sold from his/her own aviary premises .... In the event that a bird’s sale should be subsequently cancelled by mutual consent for whatever reason, no commissions will be refunded to the Vendor.
Please note – at the present time, birds cannot be sold and exported from Australia but we are working on it.
