Steven Wilson is one of Australia's young brigade of Trainers making their mark on NSW racing. Having started over 23 years ago with Tim Donnelly and Dave Mills at Canterbury and having completed several years as Foreman for Tim Donnelly and Ron Quinton, he opened his own Rosehill Stables in 2006 with his brothers David, Peter and Robert. Whilst EI was initially a rather untimely delay in the new stables progress, it has been all systems go since then. The Stable has had success with almost every horse in the stable and lists placing horses to win and earn prize money anywhere for their owners, as the most important part of the stable's philosophy. With new clients and several of the young horses now ready to show their true colours, the stable is poised to reach greater success in the years ahead...

Just As Cosmic too good in Guineas
ROSEHILL trainer Steven Wilson and gun apprentice jockey Chad Schofield combined to take out the $40,000 Jason Motor Group MTC Guineas (1600m) with talented young horse Just As Cosmic at Murrumbidgee Turf Club this afternoon.
Racing in front of a huge crowd for the 2013 Wagga Gold Cup meeting, Wilson and Schofield made a successful raid on the city's top meeting by winning the feature three-year-old race on the card.
Ridden superbly by Schofield, Just As Cosmic (pictured) was produced for one big run in the straight and the horse responded by storming down the middle of the track to win by half a length. <<Read More
